Tsitsipas Carried The Day Against Thiem, Murray the Next Challenge

Stefanos Tsitspas has reached the second round where he has to put up a good show against two times champion Andy Murray. Tsitsipas carried the day against Thiem and booked a ticket for the next round.

The match was suspended due to rain interruption on Tuesday but the next day, Tsitsipas showcased his talent in a most convincing way. His opponent Thiem could not perform well in the first two sets but then he started showing his game and Tsitsipas had to make extra effort to win the game.

 After winning the match, Tsitsipas admitted that he had to take pain to carry the day against Thiem. He said that he is very happy to reach the next round.

He further said that it has always been exciting to play against Dominic Thiem because he does not let you win the game easily and he has to put on a good show to be victorious. Every tennis lover loves to watch their game.

Tsitsipas was struggling earlier in the decider but then he composed himself and started showing his game and Tsitsipas carried the day.

On that occasion, his girlfriend and WTA  star Paula Badosa was there to support him after being victorious. Tsitsipas could not get the match point when his opponent saved with his mastery. He missed another opportunity later and at one stage, the game seemed to be in favor of the Australian player.

Tsitsipas declared Dominic Thiem a tough competitor and he also wished him the best of luck. Now the next task for Tsitsipas is Andy Murray and it will not be an easy one because he performed very well against his opponent Ryan Peniston.

Tsitsipas said that he witnessed the first title of Andy Murry in his childhood and it will be exciting to play against him.
