Lionel Messi has Joined Inter Miami, leaving Paris St- Germain by signing a deal until 2025. He has left French Champions Paris St- Germain to join the American MLS side.

On declaring his deal with the American side, he said that he is very excited to start its journey with Inter Miami and in the United States.

Remember that Messi led his country last year and they won the World Cup in Qatar.

On this occasion, co-owner of Inter Miami David Beckham was over the moon and said that he wanted Messi to be part of his team and now his dream has come true.

This is the first time in previous years that he joined a club outside Europe because Messi has not been playing for such a club for some years.

 Messi said that joining Inter Miami is a fantastic opportunity and he is hopeful that they will continue playing their positive roles to build this new project.

He said absolutely that they have to work together to achieve objectives for making things better for his new team.

Inter Miami has secured the services of Messi with the expectation of winning another Ballon d’Or this year.

David Beckham said that when he joined the team 10 years ago, it was his dream to bring the greatest players of different clubs to this amazing side to share his ambition, to grow football in the USA, and for building a legacy in this sport.

Beckham welcomed Messi and his family to Inter Miami community and declared that it was a proud moment for the whole team that a player of Leo’s caliber has joined them.

He said that he is waiting anxiously for the moment when Messi will take to the pitch.

Lionel Messi will start rendering his services to Miami on 21 July in a league match between Miami and LIGA MX side Cruz Azul.

MLS Commissioner Don Garber said on that occasion that Lionel Messi has Joined Inter Miami, leaving Paris St- Germain and they are on cloud nine that such a great player has joined their team and the decision proves that there is a significant momentum and energy behind the league.  

He further said that the presence of Messi will show the world that MLS is the best league for the best players and they are looking forward to his debut for the American side.

Remember that Messi won the last Ballon d’Or award in 2021 and it is expected that he will bring another feather in his cap by winning another award this year after World Cup success.

He showed excellent performance in the last season with 16 goals and 16 assists in Ligue 1.

Messi signed a deal with the French side in 2021 when he left Barcelona after rendering his services for 21 years.

He is the record holder for scoring 672 goals for Barca and he has brought 10 La Liga titles and four champions Leagues before his name.  Now, Lionel Messi has joined Inter Miami to add more laurels.
